私は「肯定」の力を信じている。肯定的な思考と態度は、その人にとって大きな力となる。私は作品に込められた「肯定」の力が鑑賞者に伝わることを望みながら制作を続けている。私の作品の中に含まれている「肯定」のメッセージが、見る人に伝わり、新しい「肯定」の力が生じることを望んでいる。
胸にハートが描かれた鳥たちは、生きることそのものに愛を伝えるメッセンジャーの役割を果たす。
私は、生きることにとって、愛が最も大切なものだと信じている。そして私のあらゆる作品には、愛を意味するハートが表される。作品のメインに位置づけている鳥は“LUCKY"という名を持つ。
幸運を意味するLUCKYは、見る人に肯定的な力を伝えるように作家が作り出した象徴である。面白いことに、鳥の表情はそれほど優しく見えない。だが、自信に満ちていて、全てのことが可能であるという表情をしている。また、口に花を持ち、望みを叶えたLUCKYたちもいる。その花の茎と葉の形は、アルファベットのFを変形させて表現されている。このFは、'LeaF'の意味を持つ同時に‘Flower'の意味と'aFfirm'（肯定）という意味を持つ。
